This stricking carpet derived from a 19th Century Ushak, features a large eight pointed red medallion floating on a clean teal green field. The spandrels are red as is the main border drawn with bicolor ivory and teal lotuses. Made in Northern Afghanistan by Turkmen people using natural dyes and Ghazni wool.
