Karachopt (AP-63)
Our version of a Karachopt Kazak has an ivory octagonal center medallion inside a rectangle of deep blue and red checker-boards. The field is deep green with four prominent ivory squares filled with squares at the four corners. The main border is golden yellow with tulip and leaf motif. This rug was hand-knotted in Northern Afghanistan by Turkmen people using hand spun Ghazni wool. This rug is available in 6' x 8' 8".
