Bordjalu Kazak (AP-62)
This Bordjalu Kazak design exhibits a rectangular red filed decorated with geometric motifs. The bold wide main border features large pyramidal or triangular figures with latch hooks aligned along the inside and outside and separated by ivory. The colors are green, red, aubergine, gold and blue. The inner and outer guard borders are formed of reciprocal triangles. This rug was made in Northern Afghanistan by Turkmen people using only natural dyes.
