Twelve rows of large boteh decorate the field of this beautiful Afshar. The rug was woven in the southern part of Iran by the Afshar tribe Ca. 1910. Each boteh is slightly different. There are about six different colors spread through out the field. The red border is narrow. There are single inner and outer ivory borders. The kelim ends are all original.
