Afghan (L54902 AP-55)
An early 20th Century Hamadan provided the basis of this design. A large orange-ish red hexagonal medallion lies at the center of an ivory field decorated with multicolored floral and geometric figures. The main border is a medium blue color. Made in Northern Afghanistan by Turkmen people using natural dyes and Ghazni wool.
